We were passing through on our way to Hilton Head and looking for a local "non-chain" place to eat and catch the Blackhawks Stanely Cup game. A quick search on the Yelp app alerted us to this 'hole in the wall' Sports bar and Grill. SO GLAD WE STOPPED!! It was damn near perfection!!! Hawks game playing on several TV's with UFC fighting scattered throughout. My 2 teenage sons were in heaven! Country music blaring on the radio and motorcycle's galore (Momma and papa were in heaven!) Sand pit with a lot of sand toys to play with - my 2 year old was in heaven! This place had something for all of us! We loved the "everybody knows your name" vibe, but never once felt like we were unwelcome, being strangers that were just passing through. Service was so-so (seemed like we waited a while on drink refills) but the waitress was super friendly so it never really upset us. Food was FABULOUS. Bar food at it's best. Definitely get the fried pickles! YUM! Also highly recommend Skynyrd's Signature Cockail if you're into something fruity with a kick. After a full day of traveling with 3 unruly boys - Momma had 2, herself. =) Not sure when/if we'll ever be back in this neck of the woods, but we'll most certainly stop again, if we are.

Great place, food is fresh and awesome, fair price and iced cold beer. Just a great place to kill time. They are Biker and Trucker friendly. Family friendly too.

Love, love this place. The fries, omg! The best I have ever had. The burger was great, toasted buttered bun. My only issues is that it is very loud, that being said it is basically a bar. The music was like high school hair bands, 80's rock AC\DC! It was great! They have atleast 20 appetizers to chose from. We didn't try any. But we will be here all week and I plan to drag my husband here a few more times! We came on Sunday just as the bikers were leaving, too bad really wanted to check out the bikes. The waitress was great very friendly. A must try for anyone driving by.

St. George, South Carolina appears to be a struggling community so I don't like to be negative about a local restaurant.however our experience warrants such a review. Skynards was located next to our motel. The sign said seat yourself. Initially we did inside but discoved that people were smoking so we moved outside. A very frazzled waitress muttered she had 25 tables. She said she would being us menus. After 10 minutes or so we never got them so we left. Perhaps the food is good. With patience you might actually be served.

I would have liked to give more feedback on the bar, but after sitting down (following the directions to please seat myself) for 20 minutes and never being approached, I got up and left. I know they had a nice vibe going on, so it's a shame I never got to try the food. Extremely disappointed.

I would say this place is just what you would expect for a hole in the wall on the road eatery. Our waitress was very nice, and the food was actually pretty darn tasty. A welcome alternative to all the standard national chains when traveling.

This is one of St George's best kept secret. From the outside appearance you wouldn't think it's nothing but a bar but this place has some of the best lunch specials during the week and is priced cheaper than fast food. Definitely don't let the outside fool ya they have a sand put with toys for kids and a tiki bar outside.

Stayed at the hotel next door, got a 10% discount because of it. Not really what I expected the inside to be like. Food was great and service was pretty good as well. Food came out fast and it was fairly busy that night. Just didn't like the smoking inside but can't really do much about state law.

Wow! This place was great! Passing through on our way to FL and we found this local sports bar next to the Comfort Inn at which we were staying. The food was excellent and the service was superb! No idea when I will be coming thru SC again but when I do I will certainly be stopping here.

Food is just nasty! Sunday's are good with the live music and the fact that a third party grills good burgers and dogs for cheap with cheap beer....how does that work exactly? Anyway, don't order the crap from the menu cuz you'll just get mad

Some kind of live music every night. Flyin J close by if u are pulling a trailer. Food is good. Great food selection. Reasonably priced drinks. Great outdoor area

The outside appearance might scare you away (looks like a rowdy biker bar). Went for lunch on business. A regular lunch establishment for the nearby courthouse. Our table ordered burgers, wings, and a BLT. All meals were good. Fries looked fresh cut. Side salad also appeared to be pretty fresh. From the pictures of customers on the wall, it appears to be the place to go for St George nightlife.

Awesome! My girlfriend and I stopped here for dinner, it was right off the highway on our way down to Orlando, Florida. It is a cool local sports bar, and you can tell that the food is good since there are a lot of local folks there eating as well. The food was awesome, and extremely reasonably priced. My girlfriend and I each got an appetizer and an entrée, and the check was barely $30. Try this cool local place, you won't be disappointed at all.

We stopped here on our way down to Florida. For the convenience the price was fair - about $25 for my wife and I - and the portions were generous. The wait staff was extremely friendly but beware - if you're a non-smoker, it is still legal to smoke in bars & restaurants in SC. The smell wasn't too noticeable but definitely present. At any rate, I ordered a pork chop special that was grilled just outside on the Skynyrd's own tiki bar. For $10 I got two sizable chops and a side of sweet potato fries that were great. The Yuengling's are modestly priced at $2.50 a bottle. It's not fancy but was perfect for a roadside oasis in (from what I gathered) Nowheresville, SC. Oh and if you're into live entertainment they have bands Thurs. thru Sat. We left just as the sound check started so I can't testify to the caliber of Thurs. night's band.
